Sunday 11th December 2011.

On Sunday the 11^th December Hetton Independent Methodist Church was delighted to welcome some special guests to their services.

At the morning service the children from Hetton Primary School choir told the story of the birth of Jesus with bible readings and well loved songs. The children were a credit to the school and their families and Mrs. Skipsey did an excellent job preparing them for the service.

 The evening worship was led by Signed With Love, a group of ladies and young people who told the Christmas story using British Sign Language. The story of Emmanuel was signed to beautiful songs and acted out very movingly and I know I was not the only one who watched through tears of emotion. A very touching and moving service.
