Hetton Primary School met in the church today to celebrate their Harvest Service. Many parents and relatives also attended, filling the church. The children started the service with ‘Harvest Praise’ led by the school choir.

A short DVD introduced the Shoe Box appeal and the children explained why they wanted to take part in Operation Christmas Child.

The service included harvest songs and illustrations from the bible and was concluded with a short message from Ian Wren, the church minister.

It was lovely to see the church full of happy, well behaved children who did their school proud.

Well Done.
